What Year Is My KTM?

The KTM you just bought or are about to buy can change in price based on the year and model. Therefore knowing what year KTM you have can be difficult unless you know how to read the VIN number or have a title in hand. The VIN number on a KTM can be found on the frame’s down tube. Starting on the left, identify the 10th digit and use chart below.

O-Not Used
P-1993
Q-Not Used
R-1994
S-1995
T-1996
U-Not Used

Z-Not Used

7-2007
8-2008
9-2009
In 2010 it went back to A-Z since you are unlikely to confuse a 1980 with a 2010. In the PW’S case you might so check it over well.
